Five lucky ute lovers have won double passes to the Deni Ute Muster in October, thanks to OUTBACK’s Utes Annual 2013. Enthusiasts from all over the country entered a competition in our utes magazine in which they described what they liked best about it. Five winners received the double passes to the muster valued at $360 each. Western Australia’s Sarah Spurr said Brett Rosel’s featured ute was her favourite thing about the magazine. Not only is Brett a “top mate” of Sarah’s but he tragically lost his pictured caramel Bull Arab-Rhodesian Labrador ‘Choppa’ just before the article was published. “Seeing one of the last photos of the pair of them and knowing that the memories that have been created with the Hilux makes it much more special than any tweak or modification,” Sarah wrote. Kellie Roberts chose the ute Razor Back. “Because this ute is first class and the owner is clearly one who has a passion for his ute, all the way down to his handmade bulbar and fishing rod aerial,” Kellie wrote. The winners are: Selina McConnell, Timboon Vic; Sarah Spurr, Vasse, WA; Kellie Roberts, Milvale, NSW; Sara Rutter, Deniliquin, NSW; Charlotte Peck, Westbury, Tas.
