Back for its third year (and definitely not its last), the Nova Ford Beaut Ute Show and Parade was held in conjunction with the QUT Urban Country Music Festival during Queensland’s Labour Day long weekend (April 29-May 1). Under perfect blue skies, 75 utes lined up across the picturesque parkland setting of Centenary Lakes in Caboolture, with most arriving early enough to tuck into the Beaut Ute Brekky cooked up by the local Rotary Club.
Eight categories were up for grabs and all were hotly contested – with ute owners kept busy polishing their entries until judging was completed. However, it wasn’t just a day of fierce competition, it was also a time for making new friends and swapping hints, tips and tricks among the large crowd of ute enthusiasts.
